Ritual Ink
Dear beautiful soul,
This June the Spirit Woman Initiation culminates in a ritual tattoo ceremony to signify and celebrate each of our personal relationships with the Earth Mother. It is a true honour to weave this prayer with you, to go on this journey together to create a marking that reflects our group prayers, and your intentions of what you want to embody at this time through our collective intention and your own journey with the Earth Mother.
The ancient practice of tattoo has been carried and tended to for thousands of years, since the dawn of humanity people have been marking their bodies. Whether to mark significant transitions, accomplishments, activations and markers of events. Tattoo has always been present in human tribes and groups. As an act of devotion, of prayer to the body and to the soul. Some believe that tattoos not only mark the body but also the astral light body, encoding the aura with activations and codes.
Through this day and age tattoos have also been colonised, prejudiced and mutated in this patriarchal society that we live in. No longer seen as a sacred ceremonial act, some tattoos have become shallow, unconscious and sometimes toxic.
My prayer is to offer a space where we can bring back the ancient practice of ceremonial tattoo. To create a marking that can be an activation, a healing for your body and the path you are taking. By marking in prayer and ritual the symbols and codes that best align with your journey in a unique talisman created for you, it allows you to draw into your life these certain energies and frequencies.
To begin this journey I would love to get to know more about you. I will share some questions below for you to answer, allowing this process to be a co-creation between us to create the most powerful unique marking for you within our group activation.
So let’s go on this journey together, I invite you to fully sink into your heart / womb space. To begin make sure you have carved out space and time to begin this ceremony. It starts now, the space is opening as we speak and as you commit fully to this journey. The medicine of tattoo works in many planes, as we open the prayers to this space, as we call upon your spirit guides to be present we are creating a container in the astral realms that we will be working with until we close after the tattoo.
So I invite you to start listening, when the time feels right and you have the time and space to sit and answer the questions. Create a sacred space, sit with your heart open and mind quiet and allow yourself to answer these questions, to speak your prayers to voice your intentions.
And so with this I thank you, for having the courage to fully meet yourself, to gift your body and soul this medicine and marking. I thank the great spirit, the great mother for holding me, I thank the earth, the plant Queendom, the land spirits and animals. To all the magic that unfolds to all the unseen forces that assist and protect. My prayer is to allow the medicine of tattoo to heal, transform and empower the souls that choose to receive and have the courage to go on this journey.
